Scope & privacy
Inspects returned public HTML only. It does not execute JavaScript, bypass consent, log into a website or send test tracking events. Tags loaded dynamically by a consent manager or GTM may not appear. A detected snippet does not prove that visitors are being recorded.
Official reference ↗Common question
Can “not detected” mean analytics is still installed?
Yes. Client-rendered pages, consent tools and tag managers can load analytics after the initial HTML response. Use the browser’s Network panel and the provider’s real-time report to verify actual delivery.
Put the result to work
Add your website to Omni Web Analytics, install its snippet and confirm a real visit in your own dashboard.
