How to use this tool
- Paste one absolute URL per line to generate a sitemap, or switch to validation and paste, upload or load XML.
- Check the XML root and namespace, URL formats, duplicate entries and last-modified dates. Sitemap indexes are validated without recursively fetching children.
- Download sitemap.xml, upload it to your site and submit its URL in Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools.
Scope & privacy
Generation accepts 1–1,000 unique URLs from one host. Validation is bounded to 1 MB / 5,000 entries. It is a structural check, not a full XSD validation, crawl or indexing guarantee. Last-modified dates must reflect real page edits.
A useful question
Does a sitemap guarantee Google will index my pages?
No. A sitemap helps search engines discover URLs. Pages still need accessible, useful content and consistent canonical signals. This tool does not submit URLs or verify Google indexing.
